John DeLacio has over 30 years of experience designing commercial and residential sewage systems throughout Pennsylvania. He has had certification with the PA Department of Environmental Protection for more than two decades, focusing on evaluating soil suitability for sewage system installations for residences. John DeLacio has become well-versed in local and state regulations on sewage systems, knowledge that serves him as the president and owner of Advanced Treatment, Inc.
His services to Advanced Treatment, Inc., clients emphasize soil analysis, compliance, and system design. In 2008, John DeLacio received the Inspector of the Year Award from the PA Department of Transportation. A gubernatorial task force recognized him following his work on the collapsed Ashland Oil storage tank 1338, which involved designing and conducting the geotechnical investigation of the collapse.
Mr. Delacio studied mining engineering at West Virginia University in Morgantown. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh, attending numerous courses in geotechnical engineering. His interests away from the commercial and residential sewage system industry include boating and water skiing. He also enjoys playing golf.
